You looking for some good places to play some pick up basketball in Korea? Here are some of the places that will be full of people to play with.  The lights are open late at night and there are lots of people to play with.  Usually in Korea if you want to play in a gym you have to pay and not all out door courts are filled with people to play with.  Here are the best places I've found so far while living in Korea.

Trip to Busan Nov 2013

Finally I had the chance to go to Busan!! I've been in Korea over a year now and I have never been to Busan and I gotta tell you, it was a great experience! Coming from Hawaii, it reminded me greatly of home.  From the country feeling, to the friendly people and the beaches.  It was way awesome!  I only wish I could have a chance to live in Busan for a while however I don't know if the wife would agree.  The subways were a little less crowded and being there in November, the weather was a little less cold.  I really enjoyed all the things we got to do in Busan.  The first thing we did after getting of the KTX was catching the Busan City Tour.  It was a great experience and a good way to see the most important parts of the city.  Our hotel was also the greatest part of the trip.  It was just located right across the Haeundae beach and bridge.  Our view was amazing!  Also in the hotel was a spa/jimjilbang (spa room)  which faced the beach and bridge and looked gorgeous!    You could shower and have a great view of the lighted bridge at night.  There was also a balcony right outside of the men's spa room.  I believe you could even go outside naked but unfortunately the door was locked.  I thought that was kind of strange and cool at the same time.  Anyways, we also attended the International Market and and fish market.  That was an amazing experience seeing all the fish and sea creatures out for sale off the dock.  There was a street market right off the dock where the boats were coming in and going out which made me feel like I was in one of those documentaries on the travel channel or something.  We also had a chance to eat in a restaurant that was right next to the dock.  Just for a heads up, it might be impossible to just go up and look around.  They like to hassle you once you get in.  We just felt kind of forced to sit down and eat at this one restaurant but it wasn't that bad.  We had some fried fish and sashimi.  The fried fish was just like from back home that my parents and grandparents made but the sashimi was quit different from typical Hawaii sashimi.  It didn't melt or break easily in your mouth but was was satisfactory.  To end the night we had some of the great and well known Korean sweet pancake which in Busan (and only in Busan) they put some tasty nuts inside.  It was a great treat.  Our Busan trip was a fantastic one and I hope we can go and visit again someday.  ENJOY:)
