Melly Klismas Korean style Hagwon Christmas
Had a wonderful Merry Christmas at work. I taught the kids how to make Christmas cards and played games with them. It was a good time. The Christmas spirit however is much less in Korea. As I did my nightly call on Christmas eve (yea I had to work on Christmas Eve. Kinda the down side of working at a hagwon) I asked each student what they were gonna do for Christmas and mostly all of them said nothing or just staying home. Its just so strange to me that no children were excited about Christmas. When some students said that they will get presents they said that their parents were getting them presents and not Santa. Also mostly all the kids only wanted clothes for Christmas. It was just such a bazaar experience for me. Well we had a good time. Enjoy the pics;)
