Trip to Jeju Island: Part 2 Jeju Folk Museum

Welcome to part 2 of our wonderful adventure to Jeju island off the coast of South Korea.
It was a wonderful experience and we got to see many interesting and fun things.
We thought on the first day that it was going to be rainy throughout our entire vacation
on Jeju island, however it cleared up and we were so lucky to see all the things that we could see.
Enjoy and please leave some comments:)

Ancient Korean Traditional Village
(Jeju Folk Museum)
Here we had the opportunity to visit a traditional Koeran Village that
showed many of the traditional ways the ancient Koreans lived.  It is
a very long park with so much to see.  Pretty much everything is outdoors
so hope to have good weather when you go and visit.

So in the ancient time there was a place where the kept the pigs
and the ancient Koreans made a what we would call today a "toilet"
that would run straight into the feeding troff of the pigs.  So yea,
they would eat it until many years later when they found out it
wasn't healthy.

These are ancient rice cookers.

This is where they would preserve their Kim chi.

This is an ancient "Wanted" ad.  Criminals would be identified in this manner.

Trip to Jeju Island: Part 1

My Adventure to the island of Jeju
Here we were at the Gimpo Airport on our way to Jeju Island.  All though
we just arrived in Korea, my wife had already planned to take a trip to Jeju Island
which is an island just off the coast of the mainland Korea. I love this shot of me.
Thanks to my wife:)

My boarding pass

We flew Asiana and got bumped up to first class!
Gotta love that.
We had to catch a bus to take us out to our airplane.  That
was an interesting experience.

Jeju Burgers
Our first stop in Jeju.  The all famous Jeju burgers.  They were HUGE!

Delicious!!!

 Dragon Head Rock

We were determined to have a great vacation and not have
the rain keep us from having a good time.  It was said that it
would be raining the whole time we were visiting there.  We
didn't care.  We just got some ponchos and kept our tourist
spirit up!  This was at a famous tourist sight.  Apparently
the rock behind us shows to be in the form of a dragon head.
To me it just looked like any other shore line rocks back home.

Oh well.  I'm still having fun:)

 Miniature Museum Park
Can you name all the places we visited?
