Trip to Jeju Island: Part 1

My Adventure to the island of Jeju
Here we were at the Gimpo Airport on our way to Jeju Island.  All though
we just arrived in Korea, my wife had already planned to take a trip to Jeju Island
which is an island just off the coast of the mainland Korea. I love this shot of me.
Thanks to my wife:)

My boarding pass

We flew Asiana and got bumped up to first class!
Gotta love that.
We had to catch a bus to take us out to our airplane.  That
was an interesting experience.

Jeju Burgers
Our first stop in Jeju.  The all famous Jeju burgers.  They were HUGE!

Delicious!!!

 Dragon Head Rock

We were determined to have a great vacation and not have
the rain keep us from having a good time.  It was said that it
would be raining the whole time we were visiting there.  We
didn't care.  We just got some ponchos and kept our tourist
spirit up!  This was at a famous tourist sight.  Apparently
the rock behind us shows to be in the form of a dragon head.
To me it just looked like any other shore line rocks back home.

Oh well.  I'm still having fun:)

 Miniature Museum Park
Can you name all the places we visited?

Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum
So our plans to go para sailing failed due to the weather, however there
were many museums to visit that are indoors.  We stumbled on this place
just driving around looking at things.  You will find out that just driving
around you can find many things along the side of the road to do which
can make your visit to Jeju memorable.
This was an entire car made out of cardboard.

They claim that it was and actual lock of hair from Elvis Presley.

This was made entirely of match sticks.

Worlds tallest man.

Can you see me?

Ahh!

This art was made out of BREAD! I couldn't believe it.

This wedding dress was totally made out of
TOILET PAPER!

Elvis art made completely out of M&M's.

Jusang Jeollidae Promenade

So these columns were said to be formed naturally.  They
were an impressive sight to see:)

My wife educated me about these famous Jeju rock statues.
The legend is that if we touch the nose of the statue that we
will have a son for our first child. WE'LL SEE IF THAT'S TRUE.
