First week in Korea

Eating good food and experiencing my first week in Korea with my wonderful wife was such a memorable event for me.  I saw many things and experienced such wonderful cultures.  In this picture we met a friend and ate some delicious Korean food.  My taste buds were filled with excitement for this new experience :P

Bus and Subway Transportation
Here we were at the Dangjin bus station.  It was my first time
see these wonderful building filled with all these signs in
Korean.  It was very interesting to me to see those signs.

Here we ate some awesome street food breakfast at the
bus station.

This was a hot mochi filled with azuki bean.  Too good:P
My first ever bus ticket from Dangjin to Seoul.  The cost was
about 6 bucks.  Takes about 1.5 hours to get to Seoul.

In the Bus.  The seats were spacious.  There was a lot of leg
room.

As we got off the bus we stepped straight into the subway
station.  I was overwhelmed with the amount of people
in the subway.

I was so shocked to see so many people.  My
wife thought I was seeing a new world for the
first time.

Funny observation.

STREET FOOD! :)
My first experience with street food:)  I was super excited
and couldn't wait have this experience.

My first "egg bread".  This was way good.

At first it was sweet with a mixture of egg
and egg yolk.

Thumbs Up!

Next was a kim bap wrapped in omelet with some spicy sauce.

This is how she would make it.

Delicious!  I love my wife's reaction in this picture.  She has
that look like I am crazy for being sooooo excited for Korean
street food.  Well I AM! :)
My first experience drinking the Korean famous "banana milk"
My favorite:)

Journey to the Mormon Temple
On our way to the Mormon temple in Seoul.
My wife thought I was crazy because I wanted to take
a picture of this street.  I told her that its interesting to
me because in Hawaii we don't have these kind of streets.
She laughs.

Walking up to the temple we can see the Moroni statue.

Here's the entrance to the temple.  It is very hidden and hard
to tell that there is a temple here because its in a residential
area surrounded by buildings and convenient stores.  Not
like the normal temples you see with wide open spaces

I loved the fluffy look of the bushes in front.  They make
the temple look like it is sitting on the clouds in the sky.

The Night Scene
Later that night we met a friend and ate some delicious food.

This was some cheesy goodness:):):)

When we eat at these kind of places we are required to wear
these aprons as to prevent from getting dirty.
What a great idea!
At night the scene is packed with people and
the streets are full.  The lights are lit up like a
Vegas boulevard

Ended the night with some delicious crepes.

I love my wife for taking me around Korea and showing me
all the wonderful things that go on in this amazing country.
She is so sweet and so beautiful.  I felt like getting a personal
tour from a beautiful Korean movie star:):):) kkk
